Averaging 9.9 points, 3 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game, Awatea was a key player in a near-flawless season, and her experience playing alongside the legendary Lauren Jackson sharpened her game. Known for her tactical defensive reads and ability to control the tempo, she's returning to the Tauihi League ready to lead the Queens with her sharp court vision and leadership.
